Jimmie Highsmith Jr. is a Grammy-nominated saxophonist, composer, recording artist, educator, and bandleader whose career spans more than four decades of musical excellence. Based in Rochester, New York, Highsmith has established himself as one of the region's most respected jazz artists, captivating audiences with his soulful tone, dynamic performances, and engaging stage presence.

As a recording artist and performer, Highsmith has released multiple acclaimed projects and has shared stages with many of the world's leading jazz and contemporary artists. His music blends elements of smooth jazz, contemporary jazz, R&B, gospel, and traditional jazz, creating a signature sound that is both sophisticated and accessible.
